Regardless of politics (and I will be honest, I voted for Biden), I am very excited that America will now have its first female Vice President, Kamala Harris. It's wonderful to see that America keeps its promise to be a place for everyone from everywhere, and that gender is no reason to think that someone can't lead. It's just a breath of fresh air after we've spent the last 4 years under racism, sexism, bigotry and just sheer inhumanity. As a student of history, I knew that good things would come again. America is resilient. Someone like Harris is a good dose of medicine for Trump and his politics. It did him good to lose to a black female. He did not achieve his desired control over the United States.
When she first began appearing on the political stage, I didn't really think a lot of her, but after getting to know her and seeing the vibrant and passionate spirit she possesses, I think she will be an invaluable Vice President, and I also think she would be an amazing President all together (perhaps that's somewhere down the road). But I expect to see good things from her in the next 4 years, and I am glad I was alive to see this part of American history happen. May Hera bless her.
In the Goodness of the Gods,
